Then Lewis at 23:25, comparing Madoff to FTX, Lewis tries to effectively defend FTX by stating: "in this case they had a great real business, if no one had cast aspersions on the business, if there hadn't been a run on customer deposits, they'd still be sitting there making tons of money." Has Lewis already concluded SBF is innocent of all those charges? I think we have a case here where the author has gotten too close in terms of a friendship with the accused to make an impartial judgement on the situation.

Michael Lewis was straight up 100% legit UNTIL, this. In my mind he's no longer relevant at all. Sam was without question a straight up conman. He was never worth a dime. People are so gullible it's sad. Why isn't Sam on trial yet????? I'm saddened that Lewis fell for his BS. I personally know some of the wealthiest traders in the business today.
