People saying he was ahead... Since when does this give you the right to close the door on another rider? Obviously the finish line should not be right after such a corner, but equally obviously, Bouwman should have been disqualified. If Schmid hadn't had the quick reaction of braking and had crashed, no doubt that Bouwman would have been disqualified.

Bouwman was ahead and had a clear shot for the inside of the corner, which a rider obviously should take. It's ridiculous to expect a rider to leave room for another rider (Schmid), who might or might not have gotten through, by taking the corner wider than necessary. The fault of 'not sprinting in a straight line' is only apt when, you know, you are sprinting in a straight line. All five of them knew to hit the inside of the corner first, Bouwman did. If there was a fault, it was on the routeplanners: too tight of a corner (90deg), with too little runoff, too close to the finish. Probably didn't expect a group of five with a sprint left, but there you go.

Its much more boring without Almeida what on Earth happened he was interviewed after stage 18 no problems then sick Not much left for this tour its just boring in the GC now. Too many graidients over 10 %its rediculous. Also hardly any TT time to gain its ALL frikkin altra steep climbs.. Thats what decides the tours TT is just an exhibition with too short courses
