Endeavor wouldn't face his son and try to make him quit because by forcing his son to confront reality and realize how hopeless that goal of surpassing All Might was would have forced Endeavor to also confront how hopeless his own dreams of surpassing All Might were. Endeavor's need to stay in denial of what reality was is what sealed Toya's fate. It wasnt until S3 when Endeavor saw skinny All Might and "inherited" the #1 spot that the obsession was finally destroyed and he started properly self reflecting how all he had done had been absolutely pointless.

The married part just made me so emotional on so many levels because for them, when the world went to s**t, gay marriage wasn’t legal yet. 😭😭😭

The whole “If you’re a Todoroki, you’re Endeavor”, storyline has been awesome through the series, so many dynamic characters changes with the Todoroki family.

I loved how well Sheera understood and broke down that ending scene. An awakening and understanding between Thorfinn and Einar, it was perfect.
