My guess is, the sound travels thru the slits, along the top of the glass tube, and bring them to vibrate. And that’s it.

Sweet bong speaker review

I remember reading about this speaker back in middle school on a tech magazine... I think it was 2015-ish or so year. The first iteration of this, didn't sound as good as this (ofc the first ones are never perfect). But it looked so damn cool. Much more appealing than this one, it was a straight cylinder. Not like this bottom-fat, top-thin style. I believe Sony showed it on CES. And they made a super high quality video trailer for it, which I still have on a DVD that I got with the magazine. Sorry I typed whatever came to my head... this really reminded of the good old days, even though 2015 wasn't that far away. I didn't have access to Clip-Share back then, so without LTT, my only source of tech was that magazine. Such memories!
