I have a question. What would happen if you intentionally put a intake where there was lots of drag? So that if there was separation the separated air would probably be sucked in by the intake or the pressure the aread experiences will simply go into the intake.

"I believe this puny brake system will stop this rocket on roller skates, I'm so glad I left acme to come work for Dodge"...I think it's admirable that you're attempting to correct the problems created by the manufacturer and if you fail, hey, at least you can't fail much worse than the original designers, and you'll look really cool doing it. It seems to me you put more thought into the drive train in this video than that schmuck from acme. Your videos are great. Your ability to combine vast amounts of information sprinkled with quirky humor makes your videos fun and easy to watch even when stuff gets technical. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out . Vipers look really cool and I was disappointed to learn it wasn't the race-ready vehicle it was made out to be. Your whole redesigning the vehicle to your owns specs reminds me of that guy who chopped a Tesla in half and reengineered it to run a standard V8

I’m of the opinion electric converted classics is how we make these otherwise yard art pieces actually function as a car again. Plus - if you have ever restored an old car, you will know how much work goes into keeping it restored and running. Cars don’t like to sit, period. Old cars especially don’t like to sit. Let them sit and everything turns to shit. Everything starts leaking and gets gummed up. I blame modern synthetic petroleum products. Anyway, I think the perfect solution is to convert an old car to electric. You’re not going to drive it every day, it’s going to sit. Electric things are mostly happy to just sit. I personally want to take it one step further and install a battery charger that will also use my car’s battery like a Tesla battery wall. As I am married, I think it will be a good selling point for me to help excuse the expenditure, if the battery in the car is also part of my home’s power management system. Yes, there are companies making car battery chargers that will allow you to reverse the flow and use your car’s battery to power your house.

I know this video is nine months old. However, if you have a second ball and your tongue weight isn't too bad, you can always do a rise hitch for loading, and then switch back to your drop hitch for travelling. I do this for my motorcycles all the time.

I bought my dream car 2 weeks ago, a yellow 996tt. It is incredible. It drives like no other vehicle I’ve owned. I used to have a 986 boxster which I also loved, and this reminds me so much of it except it goes from 0 to Jail in what feels like the blink of an eye. I traded the boxster in for a new WRX STI and never had any fun with the Subaru, which I blamed on the turbos. The 996tt proved that wrong. It corners like it’s on rails and it will do so at any speed i have asked it to. It is simultaneously settled, responsive, and incredibly dynamic. It also is comfortable and carries a week of groceries comfortably. On top of that, I’ve already had to replace a water pump on it and it wasn’t even as hard as the power steering on my raptor. It’s frustratingly difficult to access parts but designed well enough that a lot of the edge is taken off by the sheer simplicity of each portion of the disassembly and assembly.

Would a double-panhard-bar-like solution running off of tall custom risers attached to left and right sides of the suspension - be a possible solution? Keep the panhard horizontal, just move the pickup point high-high. Simple-AF moving parts, can make it sturdy, it being two-sided should elliminate out any funky structural loads?

I dunno why you want to waste your time building an offroad Viper when you could be moulding fiberglass for your Land Speed Car.
