Please don’t throw a raid just because. Especially the legendary events. I hate it when people sabotage the raid on purpose. If you don’t have a good Pokémon for the raid pick your strongest Pokémon and use cheers on your team.

Breaking down your thought process in extreme detail is an invaluable resource for anyone wanting to play competitively. Thank you for doing these self scouting/coaching sessions, the real World Champ difference is in the preparation for every possible scenario.

I'd say if you actually want to actively push this as a good thing, maybe in an interview during tournament, just mention how great it is to not have to worry about someone over the shoulder giving away your team. Frames the change as positive and informs the more casual stream viewers that there is a reason for this change.

I'll be honest I don't know why I'm here but I'm just waiting until we get home to transfer some of my older mons to use and only breed certain new ones that are worth it mostly. That and I also want them so I can actually do 5 star raids without grinding my butt off for a single viable pokemon XD. Competitive Pokemon is just too much for me honestly, especially with Tera types being a thing and making it so anything can be anything I'm just not gonna do it this game...

Personally as someone who isn't in the competitive Pokemon space, I feel like in situations like this where disconnecting harms you a lot more than your opponent, I think it should cause a game reset. You don't lose instantly despite holding the significant advantage but you are still punished. If something like this were to become a rule significant advantage would need to be defined. Potential definition would be a less than 5% chance of winning even if you knew your opponent stats, items and move choice. If it gets to hard to calculate then the one who disconnects loses.

I agree 100%, I find it so complicated to do these little things in games AND manage my own life. For instance, I'm right now at the top of a Pokecenter waiting to evolve a Pawmo while the mf stops to spin like an idiot for don't know how many steps. I feel that Nintendo sugarcoats the problem with team building because of the team rental, but it simply destroys the experimentation with weird Pokémons that I've always enjoyed! it must be very challenging having the pressure of always needing to learn a new meta-game. ig it must get easier the better you get at the game. but i’m relieved that in Smash such necessary adaptation is relatively infrequent-limited to once per title every 6 years or so really-and needing to change your character(s) only really applies at the very highest echelons of play.

anyone who wants a pen that doesn’t dry out without its lid should use the one wolfe uses to write in his notebook as exhibited in this video-a champ can’t have his tools scuffing-up on him, and there is no time to constantly replace a lid when every second counts!

Personally, i think players should have to make a sheet displaying everything about their team and give it to the TOs to prevent cheating and then the TOs should provide a sheet displaying nothing but the pokemon and their tera types to the opponent. That still gives you a lot of information and removes the ridiculous amounts of variance from tera types but doesn’t give away the full set which would preserve gimmick and weird teams.
