Excellent video. Thanks so much. I’m going to get both bridge and neck Cruisers (DP187 and DP186) for the bridge and neck positions of my Fender Strat. The only thing I’m debating is whether I should change the stock 250K volume pot to a 500K. Any thoughts on that?

I would say the difference is too small to care about. Things I noticed after tweaking around with too many things, you'll achieve more tonal difference by changing pick material and thickness.
What if to short one coil with a small cap with a switcher to cut high freqs off (and left them in the second coil)? Because that small distance between the poles kills a “glass” at a high end. PS The Cruiser is a great pickup that I would listen to for hours and hours
Never tried that mod but it should be possible with 10 poles 5 way switch.

The good thing about small pedal rigs like this are that you barely have to bring anything to the gig which is what I love. Light carry load and only 2 components Downside though is that the stage looks way too empty 🙈

Can you explain the connection from the HX to the PA? Do you just use a 1/4 in cable to go to the front o house, or do you do something else?

I used balanced TRS to XLR cable. TRS side goes to HX output and XLR goes to front of house.

Actually this is the closest to a stock mexican strat that I owned. Only change I did was replacing the Floyd 1000 it came with, with a Gotoh 510 floyd.
