In this video I will try out an idea I had in my head for quite a while. Why not simply use a treadmill to generate electricity? I mean we power treadmills to make us run, so why not "run" as well but push the treadmill to produce electricity. That is exactly what I will be finding out in this video. Is such a...

Scott, I think you are overlooking some legitimate reasons for having a HV transformer like the one at the start of your video. Personally, I use these and similar ones for igniting gas and atomized oil sprays in various furnaces and heaters.

All in all, it may not be worth it as a power generator. But I would say that it has potential as a mentoring tool. I find it amusing how easily it can show that, yes, when you draw power you actually need to push more and does give a unique feel of "how much" power does you phone use! Very cool as a school project (except the high-voltage stuff, unfortunately)!

I am making a self propulsion ie "units" for everything electrical for the motives of self sufficient living because of the manipulation in the merchandise realm. Question friend why should I pay Me Electric company for power ie house appliances recharge cell phone everything when I can self propell it myself without me using motors bike wheels water wind whatever when I have designed a unit that propells itself once started it's so simple but I can't tell you how I've done it because if I do then someone finds out who I am I'm on a bit list for Big Giants to move me out the way. I can self power everything electrical to never ever plug into power socket ever again. And if I was I supposed offered enough money maybe I may reveal the information but @ this point I'm remaining silent as a lamb . I'm not referring to solar or turbines but self propulsion design why don't Big Tech make it. The evolution of money that's why everything from technology to medicine cancer all merchandise is a Big scam. All I can say is ask YHWH for wisdom. If He gives it to you good luck. But if not it stays with me. I will never disclose my system even if I sell to close friends I will flood my units with epoxy 2pac resins so hard no will be Able to workout how it is made.

I've seen a few solar trackers now and yours was really cool :) The only issue I've got with them and yours is the amount of electronics needed. I put a lot of thought and experimenting into it and have come up with an alternative method of solar tracking. It's only good for up to maybe 2 ot 3 kg weight of solar panels but is great for hobbyists, camping and recharging batteries. I've got mine set up with 3 x 10W 6V solar panels and can charge 18650 lithium ion and NiMH batteries with it. The only electronics mine uses for the solar tracking is a TP4056 lithium ion battery charging module. If you're interested, I've got a vid of a full day (time lapse), giving under 2mins for the vid. The main things going on are pointed out with text in the vid itself. Have a look if you like: clip-share.net/video/JbZ03QEMvKg/video.html

I would suggest trying this with more varied loads. I suspect the limiting factor is the walking force which is theoretically proportional to the current. If you put more LEDs in series you may be able to get more power with the same amount of effort.

i repeated the resistance test of a wago 221 with AWG 16 fine stranded wire and got 1.1mR as a result. my wago knock-off look-alikes came out even better with just under 1mR (voltage drop measured with a UT181A). i removed more insulation so i could measure directly at the connector's entrance, while running 18A through it.

Also nicht die Last (bspw.
