Anyone who likes zombie apocalypse kinda stuff should check out project zomboid if you haven't already. After a while the power and water goes out. You eventually die and turn into a zombie after being bitten. If you can survive for long enough nature takes over and it turns into winter where it's super cold. It's a brutally difficult game and extremely punishing.

I don't mean to harp on this - though I do in fact mean to harp on this - but with the whole thing of "the people of this village became cannibals because there was almost no food, and they had to eat whatever they could to prevent waste", the fact that every two seconds in this movie someone goes "it would be really gruesome if they did THIS thing that would render the person completely inedible!" I suppose it's a fool who looks for logic in the chambers of the stupidest slasher movies available.

Just letting you know James that Krampus’s face isn’t actually visible and that face with the gaping open jaw or “lock jaw” as you put it is actually a goat like demon wearing a “Creepy old man’s face” to quote the puppeteer/ suit actor for Krampus. In a video by Universal called “Playing Krampus” the guy who brings Krampus to life shows that there is another mouth and goat like eyes under Krampus’s Leather Face style old man mask which shows that just like the folklore Krampus is a goat like demon. A theory I have is that there actually is no Santa in the movie because the “Creepy old man’s face” he’s wearing is actually jolly old Kris Kingle’s face cut off of his corpse.

Yeah is movie was hot garbage! I thought that when I first saw it and an appraisal now… it’s still hot garbage… steaming garbage. I have never been so disappointed by a movie in my entire life. I remember goin to a midnight show with friends thinking it was gonna be like Predators (which to be honest was lack luster but entertaining). I wanna start this off by saying I love James and his overall style for these reviews, cause let’s be honest that’s what they are as opposed to a boring kill count with no flare for which James is definitely not. I just feel like James is not an action movie junky. I got one love old Arnold movies and the flipping firey body’s he leaves in his wake ha. It’s definitely an acquired taste that is opposed to his horror analysis we usually see. This is not a slight or even criticism on James just something I noticed. In any case love the review. I wonder what James thinks about Commando ha.

The best and most exciting part of this is that it confirms -with the exception of two Invisible Man sequels- that all the classic Universal Monster movies are eligible for a full and proper Kill Count eventually.😀 And maybe The Invisible Woman and Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man could at least get discussed on the podcast if nothing else.😅
