I've been told even using these cleaners that you still need to clean with soap and water to remove oil deposits from the mask. Your thoughts on this?
I just got my CPAP machine two weeks ago, I have pretty mild obstructive sleep apnea. At first it felt like my sinuses would explode and I felt like I couldn’t exhale all the way, those problems have mostly gone away now. The only problem I’m concerned about is that I’m getting a bit of dry skin near my mouth with my full face mask. Will lotion take care of that or should I try something else?
Only have one Soclean but both my wife and I use cpaps. She does not have a heated tube and her connector to the check valve is longer then mine which is shorter and more rounded. Often the tube of the check valve will slide off the my more rounded connector of my the heated cpap. (the tube will simply slip off from the tubes pressure, no air flow needed) The connector for heated cpap's needs a longer stem to attach and hold the tube of the check valve.
Hey, Debra from Portland, Tx. Been using cpap for several weeks. Having dry mouth and opening mouth with nasal mask. Will ask about chin strap. I’m not always successful at making it through the night, but I use cpap every night. Thanks for the encouragement.
My nose is getting dry and sore, any suggestions?
@AffinityHM , thank you!
Queen I Am 2 potential ideas for you. 1. Increase your humidifier setting which will increase the moisture in the air delivered. 2. A little KY Jell applied to the outside edge of your nose where it is sore might help.
I’ve barely noticed a difference. I tested at a record 156 ahi in clinic. I was their highest ever. My follow up was 3 days instead of 8 weeks due to severity. I have a bi level currently, at 25 in and 25 out and it’s actually gotten worse over last year. Best case lately, I’m 40-60 ahi on machine, with 95 percent mask fit. But has been as high as 85. I’m using the amara full face, but also have a nasal and a full face Philips that is ill fitting. Kind of at wits end, since failing finding a machine that can go to 30? I’m stuck with this
Thanks for the explanations & advice in such a kind, pleasant manner! I'm new to all this & was prescribed a BiPap ((RespMed AirCurve 10 VAuto) exactly a month ago. So far, I've clocked maybe a grand total of 2 hrs of use in the past month!! I called my assigned R.T. (at the med supply co.) after the 1st 3 days of use & explained how I kept feeling "suffocated" when using the mask! I also have Horrible Claustrophobia, which certainly doesn't help matters, but being a chronic mouth breather with a deviated septum, a full face mask is necessary, they say! I, per instruction from my R.T., called my Pulmonologist immediately to get orders to "tweak the pressures". I left a voicemail for the RN, who is my only means in which to reach the doctor, & explained my situation & what the R.T. had stated @ changing the pressure. I got no response, so called the RN again, & then again, each time repeating my situation & giving all pertinent info. Finally, recently, I called my R.T. again, telling of the difficulties I was experiencing! I was told that, while they couldn't promise results, they would call the RN too, in hopes of getting a response! As stated, it's now been a full month, & despite trying to use it during the day in an attempt to get used to the mask & 'sensation' (as you also suggest!), using it regularly at first (eventually, when the problem of feeling "suffocated" & thus, ripping off the mask in a panic, happened Every single time I used it, I began to skip using it, as there seems to be no path to success in sight for me!) & even searching for ideas to help me online, I am truly at a loss as to what to do?! It's my understanding too, that, without documentation of regular usage (minimally 4 yrs daily), Medicare--my insurance provider-- will stop payment, & take the BiPaP & equipment back! As I had "Critical Values" in my Sleep Study, having had 122 documented hypoxic events in 155 minutes of sleep, & have numerous medical diagnosis that doctors feel are as a result of Sleep Apnea, it is most important for me to find a way in which to use this BiPap AND make it "a friend for life"! Do you have any advice for me? I'd appreciate your help!
Angela B I appreciate your watching this and I see your difficulties here. You are trying to do exactly what I would recommend, unfortunately with no calls back. Is it your sleep doctor with whom you are trying to communicate? If not, call your sleep doctor. Otherwise, you may have to make an appointment. Your sleep doctor will likely be able to help best. You are correct regarding Medicare. One must use the PAP device for 70% of nights at least 4 hours each night. However this applies to ANY consecutive 30 day period WITHIN the first 90 days. So I think you still have time to get this straight as long as you can get on the right track. Sincere best wishes. Keep pushing forward. 😊
Perfect video. I started getting apnea after a bad TBI. This helped me. Thank you.
Chief Brazil awesome!!! Thank you Sir.
Your video had me bawling, because you were hitting on all the things that I have experienced...I couldn't find any other videos that made me feel understood like yours did. I just used my cpap machine for the first time last night...and I hated it. I'm a school bus driver and I always feel like I have slept good. For my CDL I was forced to do the sleep study (horrific!!) and now I'm being forced to use this machine. I'm extremely bitter and angry and even called in sick to work today because I slept so horribly last night. I don't hold out much hope for me, it felt like I was suffocating whenever I opened my mouth! I am currently looking for a new job. But your video was awesome...very soothing. Appreciated it!
Jenny, I wish you the best, and thanks for watching. Keep trying with that CPAP, since you have sleep apnea, it's the best solution to help you get truly good sleep.
By the way, this is not Gregory Jurek, but his wife, Jenny.
Thx a lot for the advice
@affinity, what are you thoughts about the Resmed Swift Lt. seem pretty good. Light and does seem to stay put on my nose.. I’m in Raleigh, NC
James Kantor excellent choice. Swift LT is top quality.
Nobody will ever love it . You learn to live with it because it is your life.
Do I have to have water in my reservoir to clean
yes you may press the "manual" button anytime to clean your cpap.
water in your cpap's water reservoir is fine.
@AffinityHM I would also like to know about running it manually
@AffinityHM Does it hurt to have like an inch of water in the tank?
@AffinityHM thank you
Just got the machine about 3 weeks ago and make it a habit to use every night. I have the full mask since my nose get stuffed up a lot. What makes it hard in the night is if you start drooling and gets uncomfortable with the mask On and doesn’t doesn’t seal properly to your face.
I have a full face mask for my CPAP and I over time I have learned how to adjust the straps on my mask so that it fits fairly well. Then from there I have learned to move my mask slightly up so that the mast is firmly fitted to my nostrils. Usually that takes care of any leaking problems I have had. For all of you who have just started using your CPAP please at least start the night using and try to keep your mask on longer each night. I started off for 1 hour each night and slowly worked up to where I could keep it on for up to 7 hours a night. Slowly but surely I have gotten so used to using my CPAP it harder for me to sleep without it. Also I have found that keeping the temperature of my bedroom fairly cold. That way I am breathing in fairly cool air. This helps me to sleep better and not have that smothering feeling I was having. The main thing is don’t get discouraged and quit.
I can’t wear the chin strap as my nose always get stuffed up
I had the same problem. I bought a chin strap to help keep my mouth closed. it works!
good video. Let me know about the CPAP so clean devce.; I'd love to have one for mine!

I wish it would be this easy on my country's public healthcare. In most hospital areas they give you a full face mask at start and after that you have to really fight to actually to change to a different mask. You're supposed to use the mask for one year before you can try another. But this also varies between different hospitals in the country, some work with you more while others are so money strapped that they rather take the cpap away from you than try to work out a better suited solution. In these cases only option is to go to private clinic and have them fit you a model and actually pay it out of your own pocket completely.
$300 range.

I have been using a Cpap for a number of years. My problem is that I cannot sleep on my back and as a result I get deep indentations on both cheeks. I have had various machines but this has been a recurring constant and on-going distress. I am not sure how this can be remedied...
@AffinityHM Thank you so much for your response. I will check with my provider and see what is on offer. Kind regards,
some mask's have a cloth lining which can be placed on the strap where it crosses your cheek...possibly this may help..best wishes...check out the Swift Fx
Thank You for your video.. I wish I had this info 2 years ago when I started on my Cpap machine. I have adjusted & doing good. But, I do have a question about ramp time. I don´t understand it. Whether to use it or not????
Ramp is most useful for those who are just starting out. SO if when the pressure comes on, you aren't surprised by it, and if the pressure initially doesn't bother you, then no ramp is fine. Ramp helps one fall asleep under lower pressure then it rises to therapy pressure the rest of the night. Many experienced users leave the ramp off and go directly to their perscribed pressure with no problem.
I just got my first cpap .... I got the full mask... Phillips Dream .. easy to use with the air tubing on top the head with a swizzle ... easy to move in bed
Thank you for this video. Great starter tips for beginners. WI
Thank You!!!!
Hi Chris I’m on bipartisanship 10 yrs at 20/16 and I’m overwhelmingly exhausted I don’t know why My nose runs all the time and is raw sensitive what can I do My cpap dr retired and no one else will see me cause I sleep during day so I’m confused I’m in Los Angeles cty
Sos hi. It's best to reach out and find and go see a new doctor. Most hospitals have a sleep physician. It's entirely possible that after so many years, you may need different pressure settings, and only a sleep doctor can help you there. Also be sure you are cleaning your mask, hose, and water chamber at least weekly. Best wishes Sos.
Would be nice to know aprox cost of those

I can't understand how people don't get how much of a torture device these are. Won't give me a full facemask because i have a beard, but i'm a mouth breather. I have to use a strap to keep my mouth closed, and i never feel like i can move enough air through my nose. I'm to the point where i might lose my job if i can't do this. So hopeless and frustrating
I have many full face mask patients with beards....I haven't seen your beard, however I will say it IS possible that the mask may seal even with the beard...I think you should give it a try...good luck!
Get mine Monday 12/1 This video will help me I think. Kinda nervous about putting it on. Don’t know what to expect. Come from Two Rivers Wi Thank You
Best wishes!!
CPAP sucks butt! 2 months and I want to throw it off the roof of the house and then watch 7 semi trucks run it over. I feel more tired now then I have my entire life even when in the military getting little sleep.
Are you working with a doctor on making things better, or a sleep tech, If not, I highly recommend it. Sometimes the providers are helpful as well...Best wishes!
I have had my machine 1 year went thru 8 mask and none seem to fit my pressure of 19 and 78ahi with 50% mask fit each night. I really hate this cpap the machine was 1400.00 dollars and mask are around 100.00 + i'm in this over 3k and no help just come back in 3 months so we can charge you another 500.00 dollars each time. it's just a crime what these people do to you. i'm tired all the time with no escape i feel like i'm at the end of my rope. Sorry i just had to vent.
Are you using BiPAP, or CPAP? thats a pretty high pressure and often BiPAP is a good resolution...
And the smug "you'll get used to it" don't help
One drop of nasal decongestant in each nostril, then one dollar anti snoring clip in nose and sleep 95 to 98% quality every night. No mask or pipes, just an awesome night’s rest. Thanks
My experience, you should try it and then decide how good your machines are. No water off my back, sleep with pipes machines, if you are happy 😃, then I’m as happy as a pig 🐷 in Palestine 🇵🇸.
W M really? So are you saying these machines are no good? How do you know that you’re not suffering from asleep apnea? Curious as these machines are very expensive. Please elaborate for us 👍
Thank you, this video is so helpful. I have had my SoClean since February 2019 and I do not use it every day. It is now November, and it has not prompted me to replace the filter. Do you think I should just replace it anyway?
@AffinityHM Thank you for the quick response!
I would wait on the prompt, it's designed to appear after a certain number of hours of use...about 6 months if set at 7 minutes.
How is it better than a bigger machine if you need a storage tote to clean the tubing and mask?
niteflytes good morning. You can clean the mask and tubing in the bag that comes with it. Next you can clean the water reservoir in the same bag. Finally you will need the tote if you want to clean the cpap machine.
Excellent video! I was definitely not one that experienced life changing results overnight. In my case, it took two sleep studies, and almost six months to become acclimated to mine. I started with a nose mask, but quickly moved up to a full face. Many times during the first few weeks, I would remove the mask at night, without ever remembering it. Chris’s #1 point is key! Be consistent! It’s been 10 years now and I use it religiously. Even when I nap. Easily one of the greatest life changers I’ve experienced.
Wow! Great story Drew! Thank you for sharing...people need to hear that it's possible!
The check valve that came with filter kit is smaller than the current check valve. Has anyone else ran into this?
I had problems in the beginning like keeping the mask on all night. I was ready to give up. But I kept trying and just used it longer and longer now I get a full 8 hours using the mask no problem. Just stick in there.
Way to go! Thanks for sharing! Inspiring!
Great video. My issues since starting in June has been finding a full face mask with my pressures of 19 in and 15 out that won’t blow off my face. Since the first night I’m using without fail nightly always 7 hours plus. New try is the Vitera by Fisher Paykel. So far it’s the easiest to sleep with. I have tried 8 masks to date. I’m a mouth breather and dry mouth is an issue in spite of the humidifier. I literally love the way I can sleep with the bipap when my mask is good. When fitting your mask, don’t just look at your mask size!!
Sorry...sent too soon. Your headgear could be too big! I have to have a small headgear with all masks that I have tried!
I'm from North Carolina. Just got my soclean today
I just got my mask, and I cannot adjust it so that it is not sitting on my ears and also does not sit on the edge of my eyes. How do I adjust that? The user guide does not address that.
I am hoping that your supplier will be able to help you fine tune that mask...I recommend a sit down with them if possible.
Man...I can’t believe how amazing this CPAP thing is...This is a blessing, it’s life changing, it’s literal giving me a new life!!
Thanks for this comment...I am so glad it's working well!!

Good video, I been using my cpap machine for a few years now, not perfect but this machine changed my life. There’s good days and there’s bad days but I remember of how good I’m a be when I wake up and just fight through the leaks and other issues with using the cpap. I been through some full face masks like the f20 with the cushion, dream wear and now the f30. I have two questions is it possible for someone who uses a full face mask try the ones just for the nose? The other question is about the so clean Cpap machine cleaner, is it true that it damages the cpap machine?
Yes you can definitely try the nasal only mask, you may have to also use a chin strap initially, and there's a chance that you may not like the nasal only, however, you will never know until you try it. About the SoClean, I have personally never had a customer have a single problem.
Awesome video very helpful
Phillips dream station is the best in my opinion because the dreamwear is more ergonomic and comfortable
Handyman Gold ResMed beats them by far!
Great info Sir. New user here and I can attest to your top 3 list. I’m currently in month 2 and about to tweak my mask size and see if that helps. I like the nasal type but find it just off a tiny bit so I asked to go up a size to test it out. And yes, I did start every night with my mask on but some nights I had to remove it after a few hours because of leaks or irritation. But I’m determined to continue and use it every night regardless! Thanks for the share!
It's our pleasure. Thank you Sir for watching!
Knoxville TN
Does either the ozone or light accelerate the breakdown of the mask? And do either affect the gel masks?
Hi Sharon, my customers have reported zero problems with this. Although mask's must be replaced on a regular basis (3-6 months) as well. Hope this helps.
I bought my cpap a month ago and some settings I dont understand. I read the manual and dont have a rep to help set up. Do you have a video to explain set up? Thanks. Tim from Tampa
There are many videos on Clip-Share about changing the settings without 20 trips to your doctor. I adjusted my cpap to the pressures that give me the best sleep. It’s very very very easy to change every setting on your machine. I switched mine to bi-pap instead of cpap to get more comfort. I always have less than 5 apnea’s per hour
That's a great idea for a video! Thanks. Which settings are you interested in? and to what model and make CPAP are you referring?
My problem is respiratory problems. I end up with a cold/nasal congestion when I use it.
Me too.
AffinityHM Thanks! I turned the humidifier to the highest notch (from 4 to 5).
Thanks, I turned the humidifier up another notch!
Cassandra, I wonder if a higher humidity setting may help. It is possible that the dry CPAP air is causing some inflammation.
Getting fitted and set up with my CPAP here later this week or next. I had pretty good luck with the nose only type at my sleep study. I think the chin strap will help. Not sure what brand they will bring. I have two bags of masks in various styles and sizes that the study tech gave me to try. I will post my progress and any questions here. Shawn in Austin, Texas.
Thanks Shawn! Looking forward to hearing of your journey!
Are people so lazy they can't keep the tubing clean.
@AffinityHM Thank you, I hope it gets covered.
K K Perhaps someday insurance will cover this but no indication whatsoever yet.
@AffinityHM yes, but the cleaning solution is covered by insurance. Low income people get over the counter cleaner and medications. So nothing out of pocket for elderly or low income. Please try and get insurance to pay for this.
K K you are correct, as it was also mentioned in the video. However, your solution definitely takes time. We have lots of customers who appreciate the time savings SoClean delivers. Additionally, these cleaning solutions cost money. We estimate the time savings SoClean provides to be somewhere around 80 hours each year. This is why we provide SoClean. It works.
@AffinityHM Does ALL insurance cover this or PRIVATE PAY/ SELF PAY? YOU NEED TO TAKE INSURANCE! If people are low income or elderly they can't aford it. And they are most likley the people who don't clean well.
both numbers of upper and lower is continue running so how do i know if that is the pulse if it doesnt stop?
Meow Lynx in the video at around 3:30, you'll see the pulse rate is running 101-105 ish. Pulse rate continuously changes.
Will the Purify 03 work better in a sealed air tight plastic container, or should it be not air tight like the zippered bag?
What a good question!!!!! From what I am reading ozone needs air to be created. So, if ozone needs air to be created, how can an air tight container or even a sealed container do a thorough job of sterilizing? I bought an air tight container and now wonder if it will sterilize at all with no air or if it uses only the little air that is in the container???? And how can you tell if it is, in fact, sterilizing?
Steve Spindler we recommend the plastic container when at home, and the zipper bag while traveling. Either solution will sanitize your equipment. Thanks for watching and for the question.
I only clicked on this cuz the manski in this is beautiful great way to sell a boring product
I have severe sleep apnea. Was having episodes of up to 45 times an hour before getting my cpap. I endes up seriously ill due to lack of sleep before being diagnosed in march this year. I can honestly say it has now changed my life and i have found it super easy to use.
Welcome to the CPAP lover's club! Thanks for watching!
Thank You So Much for this Video!!!! It is Life Changing!!
Thank you Elisa! So kind of you to say.
Your video was very helpful. This is my second night. I'm not happy with the full face mask. I have had severe uncontrolled hypertension. Hoping this helps. Lambertville Michigan
Debbie Welch thank you. Yes I've seen hypertension problems brought well under control through CPAP many times. Keep up the good work, and hopefully you will gradually do better and better.

Quick question the first time that I tried the CPAP during the sleep study, my throat hurt really bad, is this normal?
Erik Tiegs thanks, I think the place where I got the sleep study, must’ve no humidifier in their CPAP machine.
I don't think so. I would check your humidifier setting and turn up the setting to provide more moisture. If you are using a nose only mask and your throat is hurting it is a sign you are opening your mouth at night and air is pushing out through your mouth causing throat irritation and drying.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful info. Only caveat: I started with a full mask and had no issues. Can’t go back.
Brian Nettleingham that's awesome. And I've heard it somewhere before, "if it ain't broke...don't fix it". 😊
Have u every had to clean it and how.
crazysgirl4 in the video at 1:50. The little pad has to be replaced. I found simple thin filter material that can be cut to fit. Change that out every couple months and you're good to go. This is a simple unit. It's like 9.95.
My cpap reads error code 006
Hi. It could be a power supply problem. Best to check with your supplier, they may have your solution. Best wishes.
I am most likely going to be set up with a CPAP soon. I found this really helpful as, knowing the potential problems before hand, I will think back to this and keep at it. I only hear good things about CPAP and truly hope it works for me. I've suffered for years without knowing why, to the point where my life is seriously affected. I look forward to a positive change! Thank you.
cleanheadcole thanks for watching. So glad you found the path to great sleep. Best wishes,
you talk too much wasted about half of the video

Hi, question about the Purify O3: What happen if I don't buy the plastic bin to put the machine and tube? Thanks. Btw, I have 3 days with the CPAC machine and so far I can say it is of great help.
David Salomon, you can still clean your mask tubing and water reservoir without the plastic bin. The bin is only needed if you want the ozone to go through the cpap machine itself. For 15 years of setups prior to the existence of ozone cleaners no one ever cleaned the inside of the actual cpap machine. Therefore you are fine without the bin. Also we are doing 15% off now if interested. Code: YES15. affinityhm.com/collections/cpap-cleaning-and-sanitizing-machine/products/purify-o3-cpap-portable-travel-ozone-sanitizer

I've been on this dreamstation bipap for a couple of weeks now. I'm using a f&p simplus full face mask and I really like it. I think I want to try a different full face mask though maybe an air fit 20 the one with the memory foam what would you reccomend? I think I might get a better seal with the foam rather than the silicone and I like the idea of the magnets
Simplus is by far a better mask and the cushion of it is more comfy and deep. But if your pressure isn’t high, the Airtouch or airfit F20 is fine. Just not as high quality.
Kelly Foreman awesome it's going well. As far as which mask to choose, it's hard to say because each person is different. It's like Nike or Converse; coffee or tea. I believe you should try the foam to gain experience with it if possible.

I'm a newbie. refused the mask I asked for and I regret accepting the one foisted on me. I leaves deep marks on my face and needs adjustment all through the night. I may have to buy the one I wanted just to see if that will help. It's pretty overwhelming as of today. I may have to move into the guest room because it disturbs my husband , at least until I get things to go smoothly. TY I loved this video. I wish my set up person was as nice and as thoughtful as you! Be well and have a nice day
Yes mine left marks on my face also. When I got to work people were saying "what happened to your face" ? I tried 3 different masks and finally settled on a nasal mask with a wisp headgear. I bought the cloth pads that go around the straps and that helped a lot with the marks. Keep trying and you will get it figured out. Don't give up because it will change your sleep and your life.
Thank you Daisy! You are kind. Best wishes in your journey, and I believe you will do great!
I've been trying to use it off and on for about a week. Its been miserable. Last night I stuck with it all night for the first time. I might have got 1 or 2 hours sleep. My full face mask fit is good sometimes, awful other times. But I'm going to stick with it because I don't want to die early. I came to Clip-Share this morning to get some encouragement. Thank you.
Make sure that your straps are adjusted where they are the same lenghts when adjusted , try going to sleep when you are sleepy not wide a wake. 5 years for me.
Daniel Cambria please keep in touch with your sleep doctor. Likely it will get better. Communication is super important. Hang in.
What model?
Omfg, I got mine yesterday and I thought I had a horrible time sleeping before, last night was the worst. I can't stand the feeling of something on my face not head etc. I hope I can get used to it soon id love to be able to sleep and not wake up sick with headaches. Good luck to you though I hope you also get it going good
Thank you so much, you just explained exactly what I am going through with my new cpap and I have used three different masks in one week it is not the mask or the machine it's actually me that needs to take it easy as you say and get used too.
@AffinityHM Same to you Sir keep up the good work, your video made a huge difference in my life I was almost done with CPAP machine very frustrated, thanks to you I see things different and hope I can get used to it soon since for the little that I have used I feel great, I just imagine when I can get a full night sleep with it.
Carlos Charles thanks for watching Carlos. Keep up the good work.
Valuable information thank you for posting. very helpful
Leslie Carmody awesome! So happy you found it helpful Leslie.
Cut the first 5 minutes of this video and it will be better.
yea I kinda just went on and on....Thanks for the critique Luca.
Thanks for your videos. Going to be trying CPAP again soon. Waiting on insurance approval for an APAP. Have tried several times before & never made it past mask issues. NO ONE has ever measured my face like you mentioned, but current MD's sleep tech did try on multiple masks & headgear. Fingers crossed this doctor seems more willing to work through the issues. Can you please do a CPAP pillow video? Could you also explain CPAP, APAP & BiPAP? Mary in NYC.
Mary, I am so happy you enjoyed the video's. I think you will find APAP far more comfortable than CPAP. Thanks for the video suggestion, comparing CPAP, APAP, and BiPAP will be a really good one and we will try that soon. Thanks again, and best wishes!!
So clean not good for allergies
True for some...that's why we also offer the Lumin and Lumin Bullet.
thank you for making this video! i have to use two meds in the neb and it uses 2 tubes of meds..im curious how much it holds? if i can't fit the 2 "fishies" in there then im left with two halves left over is why im asking thank you ..thank you for reading :)
Lil butterball hi. Flyp will hold up to 5 ml. That usually more than enough. Thanks for asking. Chris
I have a sleep apnea machine and steam is not coming out
Sound like this may be your heated humidifier going out....although you normally would not be able to visually see steam. It's just humidity which is invisible, but if there's no humidity you may want to check with your supplier.
I am from New Haven Ct
CT, wow! thanks for watching!!
I'm very happy with my So-Clean but I do have an issue that wasn't mentioned in the video. The smell from the tubing and mask after cleaning is pretty powerful - it stinks. Is that residual ozone that I'm smelling? I now let air purge through the mask and tubing for a couple of minutes before I use them but it still stinks although a little less. But the smell does dissipate overnight. Is this normal?
sorry for the slow reply here Bob. Yes this is normal, the residual odor is harmless as long as you allow the SoClean to complete it's full cycle all the way to the green light, you are good. Also blowing air through is a good idea as well. Thanks for watching! Best wishes!
Thank you for the very beneficial video. For the third option the smallest one, why do you have to put everything in a container as you mentioned?
Here's the all about Purify O3 video. clip-share.net/video/nqhzvBGL-tE/video.html Hope this helps.
conveyy1 thank you. Actually the storage container is only needed if you want to clean the actual cpap machine. John did a different video that explains this better. You don't have to clean the cpap machine daily. So the little bag that comes with the Purify O3 is fine fir cleaning your mask hose and water reservoir. I'll make a new reply with the newer video for you.
I just got my CPAP, was having 99 episodes an hour with 70% oxygen level. Gotta say, it's pretty intense! My nose is always plugged up so I went with the full face mask and I too find it very hard to exhale, even with the alternating pressures. It makes me feel claustrophobic, hopefully I'll get used to it soon!
That's fucking wild if it's 99 times an hour. I thought I was bad at 38.
Aiden Seeley thanks for taking time to comment. Keep up the good work. Staying consistent is #1 key to success.
Excellent advice . I am in Florida, Plantation, waiting for the people who is to call me to set me up... it will be the first time for me. I found your advice very helpful , specially the usage of the cpac while watching tv or reading , that I know is going to help me... Thank you!!
David Salomon thank you David. Best wishes on your journey to better sleep! It's going to be awesome.

sorry for the sloe response...It may be best to take it to your supplier...possible easy adjustment in settings...
I have had my resmed airsense 10 for a month now and have uswd it only 10 nights total for maybe 3 hours each night. IT SUCKS!! I just cant do it. I started off with a full face mask and them stupid nasal pillows and the full day went in the trash. The nasal pillows bothered me because of the little nipples that kinda go in your nostrils. Drove me nuts. Went back and they gave me a full nose mask. It was ok but just having something strapped to my face I cannot do. They started my pressure on 10 which kept waking me up so I called to have them adjust it. That process is a joke too. They have to call the Dr. Then Dr has to write a new RX and send it to the sleep place and only then can they adjust it smh. 15 days later and they finally got the new RX. Well I already did a search on how to adjust "my" machine and put it on 6 and i cant even do that. I'm going to try a dental device to hokd my jaw forward and see if that works and if not I want to do the inspire implant. CPAP I just not for everyone.
trucker V best wishes. I hope it works. Also, if you decide to try CPAP again, have you considered the dreamware mask? It's like the pillows but no part of it actually goes into your nostril...
Why does mine cause panic attacks?
Justin Lee hi. I recommend running this by your sleep doc. He/she will most likely be able to help through a number of possibilities. Definitely worth trying. It could be incorrect pressure, or leaks, or even that medication may resolve.
Great video. 1week in and not easy. Using meditation to keep me from focusing on the mask. So most keep on trying. By the way i am from Denmark
Kurt Madsen thanks Kurt. Best wishes.
I asked my doctor if these units had been independently studied to see if they work and he said no he didn't recommend them.
Mathew Rupp I have owned the SoClean for 18 months. Before SoClean - even with washing my equipment with hot water, soap, vinegar or bleach water, I had chronic sinus infections. Since I started SoClean NOT ONE INFECTION. That’s my scientific study. I don’t even use it every day - only about 3 times per week. I do rinse my nasal pillows in hot soapy water daily though.
Will the Sleep8 work with the 12mm hose of the Dreamstation Go? I fell in love with the light weight of that hose the first time I used it, but I'm having no success finding sanitizers with adapters that fit it.
DH Q: Does Sleep8 work with the unique DreamStation Go 12mm tubing? Sleep8 is currently enhancing our bag design to also universally support DreamStation Go 12mm tubing. As a workaround, you can use your DreamStation Go mask tubing adapter to safely connect to your Sleep8 bag. You can leave your mask inside the bag during the cleaning cycle. Hope this helps. affinityhm.com/collections/cpap-cleaning-and-sanitizing-machine/products/sleep8-cpap-cleaner

Thanks forthe informative video. 1. Does the Purify O3 clean nasal pillows? Lumin says their machine does not. 2. Will Purify O3 accomodate ResMed ClimateLineAir heated tubing? Lumin will not, 3. Does the Ozone method leave any residue on machine or tubing surfaces that ever needs to be wiped/rinsed off? I only ask because I have other repiratory issues besides Apnea. Thank you.
Thank you. Answers 1. yes it will clean nasal pillows 2. Yes it will clean the climate line by connecting it to the end of climate line which you normally connect to your mask 3. No residue remains after cleaning, however there is an odor, aroma, of ozone. Personally I like it. If you run your CPAP for a minute before using it much of the aroma disappears. Additionally, it's good to use wipes occasionally because ozone will not remove skin oil or debris from mask. There are 2 other videos here on Purify O3 And here's a link to the product if you decide to purchase. This may be good for traveling but the SoClean is a lot more convenient for home use.
I guess I fail to see how the Soclean is more convenient with the somewhat pricy filter changes, and different attachments for different machines.
They say to replace the bag every 3 months. But couldn't I just clean the bag with the ozone?
Thank you! I'll ship it out tomorrow. Thank you!!
@AffinityHM ok. I just bought using your link. Thanks
Jules Gifford it should be replaced as there is a filter built into the bag.

What are your thoughts on the Sleep8?
jatkins47 hi. We just did a new video for Sleep8. Its very nice quality, and comes with a filter bag which I love. Here's the video detail if you like. clip-share.net/video/1iYTxCuRp5g/video.html
Thankyou Sir. God bless
you are most welcome!
I wonder what effect that the ozone in the So-Clean has on the soft mask cushion material. I think that there is some decay. My mask had more leaks after using my So-Clean machine.
Can you leave the water in the humidifier? For the so clean
@AffinityHM I don't know about water. I used so-clean and finally had a serious headache. I am guessing that it was due to mold in the hose. i replaced the hose and my headache went away.
Mike Ramsey absolutely yes. It will clean that water.
I failed to consider my insomnia seriously in past few days mainly because it merely occurs once in a while. However about five years ago, my own sleep problem became even worse. I`m able to just sleep for 3 hours in most nights and I simply cannot even sleep throughout the night oftentimes. I used this unique solution “Fαnvοkα Fawam” (Google it). I encountered great effect right on the specific day I commenced using it. After having a 7 days of making use of the manual, I was able to get 4 to 7 hours of good sleep. And it also carries on to enhance far better as I constantly use the manual. .
